FCHS students are to use this style sheet for all fo= rmal written work, unless otherwise directed by instructor.

Font:  12 point,= Times New Roman (no other fonts acceptable)

Margin: 1 inch all around

Spacing:  Single sp= ace three times after the title, and double-space the rest of the document.

Black ink only

Heading location:

(typed) top, right-ha= nd corner of page one

or

(handwritten) at the = top of a paper folded lengthwise, open edge to the right

or

Paragraph instructions: indent five spaces (use tab) = for new paragraph

Title form: bold faced, centered, and major words capitalized – NO OTHER FONTS

When dealing with titles referr= ed to in the paper, use italics and quotation marks appropriately, according to the rules for standard English usage. NOTE: Chec= k your grammar books or ask your instructor.
